- Measuring the item to be moved (dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, materials, fragile areas, carrying handles)
- Establishing the delivery route in line with the configuration of the place of departure and on arrival (stairs, corridors, lifts, ceiling height, etc.)
- Establishing insurance cover
- Provision of equipment and vehicles needed for the various phases of the operation
